Advertise Your Premarital Counseling With Us

Modern Bride Trendsetter Award Winners in 2007

The First Dance offers a one-time 2 hour wedding stress class, a dvd, and a book focused on the couple and family dynamics of wedding planning.  Ours is a brief, focused program, and we want couples to take advantage of what one-to-one premarital counselors can offer.  Part of our mission is to bridge the wedding world and the premarital education world. Only 44% of engaged couples go through any form of premarital education, usually a program required in their church.  We want to encourage more couples to prepare for their marriage through premarital counseling by accessing premarital counselors through The First Dance.

Why you should consider advertising with us:

  • We rank very high for most cities/states for premarital counseling (we are only showing up in places we have counselors - we will add new cities and those will show up up search engines!) We continually update our material to bring them back for more; future features include top question and answers on wedding stress and You Tube skits.
  • We receive traffic from a highly ranked marriage counseling site. If you are interested, eligible and qualify to be a marriage friendly therapist you get a FREE listing on The First Dance.
  • Haven't tried advertising? One couple session pays for an entire year listing.

Couples do want help to prepare for their marriage and don’t know where to turn.  Wedding advertising costs are very expensive for premarital counselors trying to reach engaged couples. Together we can build our network rather than each of us individually trying to reach the same couples.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER of $125 for the entire year ($10/month) as compared to the monthly fees of $20 to 120+/month on wedding planning websites/guides. Our book (available on Amazon) is also available to resell to your couples as a way to touch on the family dynamics of wedding planning without you having to be an expert in your counseling sessions.

How do I sign up?

Minimum requirements to advertise your premarital counseling:
We are looking for licensed counselors or people with creditials in some form of premarital education who work with couples one-on-one (not in groups). Groups are listed if they offer The First Dance Group DVD ($79, see marriage educator section of our website.) Being a PREPARE certified counselor is just fine if you don't have any other licensed counseling degree but offer the PREPARE inventory and counseling sessions. If you are eligible and interested as a marriage therapist you may wish to join The National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists, which gives you a free listing on this website. We have quite a few therapists already on board getting calls from couples.

Fees:

A one time $125 fee for an entire year.
