Over 30 years helping couples
Be all they can be for their
“I Do’s” and future “We Do’s”.

Weddings are a time of great joy and celebration, yet many are marred by the various stresses that go into the planning and execution of the event.  From a pure legal point of view, all that is necessary for a couple to be married is for me to sign the marriage license and say: “You’re now married”. However, the rite of the marriage ceremony is done so the couple can share their good news and pledge their vows before witnesses of family and friends.

I work with the couple to design a wedding ceremony around their character and mutual desires. I encourage couples to write and/or choose vows that speak specifically to their love. There is nothing legal or holy that must be put in a marriage ceremony. Whatever we choose/decide is what frames the ceremony content. It can be religious, secular or a little of both.

In most cases, I require the couple to go through premarital counseling using the Prepare-Enrich counseling tool. This tool helps couples discover mutual strengths and weaknesses in their relationship and suggestions for helping them become all they can be in their marriage journey.

I welcome all couples to the altar of marriage, young (of legal age) old, religious, non-religious, inter-faith and/or same sex.
