As educators and therapists, we know that the first principle of adult learning is to take people where they are, and for most engaged couples, this means wedding planning. If we embrace wedding planning as a learning opportunity, new possibilities open up to help couples learn life-long lessons about their own teamwork under stress, their relationships with parents and siblings and in-laws, and about the dynamics of extended families.

We have found that wedding planning is the ideal time to bring family systems theory into the education of couples. Couples who read our book, watch our DVD or take the 2 hour out of the box class report:

  • less stress in the months leading up to their wedding
  • increased ability to handle the pressures as they come
  • more wisdom to carry over to their marriage.
  • they also want more premarital education now that they have tasted its fruits.

I offer premarital classes currently

  • You can give away or resell our wedding book. We sell you our book for $7 and you chose to increase the class fee or make a small profit by reselling the books at any rate up to the retail $12.99.
  • You can give away or resell our Couple DVD. This is great for couples to watch together or to watch with their parents. Each DVD is only $5.
  • You can ADD YOUR CLASSES to our website for $75/year. You get access to all the couples who find us and may want lower cost classes. We give you a link to your website for maximum flexibility!
  • You can request brochures from us to hand out, directing couples to us as a great resource
  • You can ADD our 2 hour class to your offerings. Group setting are 3-7 couples. If you're interested, you get a free listing on our website for couples who find us online and would be interested in the class. Learn a lot more here about the class including downloading the easy faciliator guide to get a good sense of what the class involves. Our Couple DVD is very similar to the group, minus the facilitator guides on the screen and excersize stop/start points.
  • Suggest wedding stress coaching to your couples who need more personal help around the wedding planning and their families.
  • Anything you see on our website is fair game to reprint on your website or anywhere (newsletters, etc). All we ask is for a link back or referencing our website in print.

  • You can give away or resell our Couple DVD. This is great for couples to watch together or to watch with their parents. Each DVD is only $5.
  • You can request brochures from us to hand out, directing couples to us as a great resource
  • The First Dance Couple Check-Up, powered by PREPARE/ENRICH, a couple inventory created 25 years ago and used around the world. Couples can go through the inventory at home, without a counselor, and learn a lot about themselves as a couple that will help in their marriage. You can link to this part of our website and ask couples to share their personalized report. Or add the link to your website as a suggested premarital option.
  • Suggest wedding stress coaching to your couples who need more personal help around the wedding planning and their families.
